A Quad Bikes or ATVs are equipped with lots of safety features, like hydraulic disc brake, super strong disc that stops with incredible efficiency and speed. A component called the speed Governor, this controls how fast the vehicle will go. Some of the kids mini Quads have remote control switches that offer parents in charge of starting and stop functions of the engine. One of the feature also automatically activates an alarm from up to 30 ft away.
Inspite of these machines are built and designed and built with safety features, and safety terms and conditions in priority, there are majority of deaths and injuries through an ATV accident, due to the aggressive nature of the machine. ATVs are more dangerous than motorcycles, more children and women are injured with these all-terrain vehicles. Injury to the spinal cord can result in paralysis of the entire body for life.
All sport or hi-speed riding is provided with the appropriate safety equipments and gears to protect themselves from injuries to an extent. One should wear helmets, ride lighter and slower ATVs, and be monitored under the watchful eye of an adult. The government also have taken initiatives and have passed certain laws that compensate the life and assets of the person got injured in an ATV accident.

Age 6 and older: Under 70cc
Age 12 and older: 70cc - 90cc
Age 16 and older: Over 90cc |
