Lakotajoe just got a 700 prarie.. his seat was doing the same as your's.
you have probably done this already , but i'll give it a try anyway
.
on the front of the seat he has two tabs that need to go in there slots, one up top and one closer to the battery, they go in first , then the rear snaps into it's holes..
not sure if you tried this .. just a tip.. good luck!
