You can get wider tires and and more offset on after market rims. I will tell you right now dont waste your money on aluminum rims. They get damaged too easily in the woods and cant be straightened out. Save your cash for better tires and get steel wheels . If they bend ,you just bend them back. No offence to the guys with nice wheels. They are cool looking .But I cant see buying polished wheels just to smash them into rocks all day.
And despite what people say Plain steel wheels are the same weight as most of the real nice aluminum ones for a 4x4 quad.
