Wow is right. this thread has been dead too long. You want performance, get a new Cat and learn how to ride. The only thing I've come across that challenges my stock 500 shifter is a kawi brute force. I don't understand all the bad press, or should I say lack of positive press for Arctic Cat. I now own 3 cats, and plan to get a new 400 this summer or fall.

When I changed over to a 4x4 quad, the first one I looked at was the Articat . The main reason I went with the brute force was the price. I didnt have the extra cash for Articat
