How much of an ?impact? would $5,000 worth of Snap-on tools make toward your productivity?

Hmmm $5000.00 worth of Snap-On tools. Lets see that works out to a set of screwdrivers, 1/2 drive set of impact sockets, and a ratchet or two! :bonk:

Lets see $5000 at Harbor freight and you can buy the entire inventory of the store. Only problem is the stuff will break before you get it back to your house.

I buy Craftsman from Sears and Snap-On off of E-Bay. I am the worlds worst tool junkie. I will buy anything if the price is reasonable. A friend of mine does hazardous clean up. They deal with a lot of old gas station remediation so every once in a while they tear down some of these old garages and pull all of the old fuel tanks out of the ground and what not. He is always dropping off old tools and tool cabinets full of stuff . A few weeks ago he dropped off a cabinet full of tools that were used during the thirties and forties to rebuild the old L head engines. (Flatheads) I spent about 3 hours going through this cabinet and unwrapping all kinds of goodies. Inside and old towel I found and original flying lady hood ornament off of a Pierce Arrow. This thing is in pristine condition and is absolutely beautiful.

Life is good!!!
