Yeah... go to greenbrook cycles on Rt22...they have a sweet 500 in stock with lights and everything...It looks just like a motocross bike!

I am really, really thinking about it switching back over to two wheels. Only problem is trying to justify spending the $6200 to my wife for a dirt bike!

We'll see...

I read an article on the NJORVP site that confirms that you can ride them on state property...so that opens up alot of places to ride...very tempting...

Ok, the skinny on legal dirt bikes..... They have to meet all DOT requirements (lights, horn, blinkers, etc). Places like Wharton State Forest..... those dirt roads and trails running through it are classified as "Unimproved State Roads" . They are STATE roads and you must be legally registered and insured. The Park Rangers will stop you to check your paperwork, and probably bust your chops a little. Stay out of restricted areas. These are areas that have been damaged by overuse, misuse and the occasional a-hole with a Chevy Suburban on 44" tires tearing it up. I used to four wheel in those woods with a club. Great riding!! No jumps or anything, but just great riding.
