Well I went to look at my friend's dad's dirtbike today. It's a 1998 KTM 300MXC, and he is sellin it to me for only $1500 Well I was wondering if any of you guys knew anything about KTM dirtbikes or even this model. I have always heard KTM made great dirtbikes, but never really researched it. As long as everything goes as plan I will be picking it up next weekend.

I did get a chance to ride it today and HOLY $h!t!!!! I was amazed by the power. I mean I have riden 250 2 stroke bikes before but this thing would absolutly blow those away. I am difinitly gonna have to take it easy on this thing

my moms fiance has a 1998 KTm 200 mxc with an exhust, filter, reeds, jetted carb, and a buncha of other stuff and it flat out haulsssssssssssssss...i cant imagine how the 300 is, very powerful bikes, ktms are really reliable (yet expensive to repair), just keep up with 2 stroke maintence and it'll be good to you, alli know about the MXC's is that they are the KTm cross country bikes

Yeah I picked up the bike last weekend but have yet to actually go riden on it. I played around the yard to get used to it then went up the road a little ways. This bike is absolutly insane! I ripped a wheelie shifting into second and didn't notice untill I went to shift into third! The bike is a little big for me, so I don't know how I am going to do on the trails, but I can not wait to try it out. The bike has a quite a few aftermarket parts including a full FMF pipe, and is mint conditions.

Hopefully I will be going to thomaston dam this weekend riden
