This pas weekend was the famous NJ "Hammer Ride"

Basically, a club gets permission to use the trails (by working the DEP) and maintainence...

Let the video pass the MC HAMMER intro...

http://www.ecea.org/forums/index.php?showt...amp;#entry45306

To elaborate more...

Weekend starts out by meeting some friends at Belleplain State Park...Camping out...

Get up saturday 8am, paying $25 entrance fee...They give you a document with turn by turn directions to follow, or you can just follow the course arrows that are placed at each turn...Ride 50 miles...

Return to camp at 2:30...

Start a fire..camp out

Wake up at 7am...check in again, get the route for sunday..Ride 80 miles...through the woods...

3pm end up at the lunch spot..and they treat you to an awesome lunch and a t-shirt...

These events are NOT races...Everyone rides at their own pace...and you can stop when/wherever you want...

It's a lot of fun, and one hell of a workout...There's a bunch of these events throughout the state, almost on a monthly basis...
