Pw80

My 7 year old son wants to try dirtbikes. He has been riding on 4 wheels for almost 2 years now. Went to a couple of dealers and sat on just about everything. The pw80 fit really well and is along the line of recreational riding that he is interested in. Is this a decent bike and are there any other suggestions for something along the same lines. Not a big race/mx fan and was not comfortable on the motorcross type bikes. Any input would be appreciated.

my nephew had one..It was old and looked like crap but it ran like a champ..It was his first bike and learned quickly on it..

I picked up an old PW80 for my 6 and 8 year olds to start learning on. Great little bike easy to work on and great to learn on. There are plenty of parts available on ebay, they bascially haven't changed the bike in 20 years. I was actually suprised how quick it was, I believe there is a exhaust governor but the one I have may have had it removed.
