i am wondering how many of u guys have elka shocks and if u like them or not. Thanks

i have the elka rec series fronts on my 400ex...i like them a lot...they made a difference...

Definitely investigate having your shocks tuned. If you can have the existing shocks tuned, you'll likely be happy with the results. If you want features that only aftermarket can offer, then you have no choice. There are more choices in aftermarket shocks than Elka. Check out PEP, Fox, TCS, Ryde FX, and Works and any others you can find.

I have 'em on the V. It made a HUGE difference in the way the bike handled

I run Axis, they are awesome. Fox, motowuz are supposed to be sweet. They just came out.

I heard a lot of complaints about Elka's customer service. My friend just got them on his Honda and he had a problem with them sending the wrong shock all together. Then they made him wait another 3 weeks to get the right ones. In all fairness he says they work great!!

I have long travel elkas- No complaints here, i have ridden on other aftermarket shocks and if i do it all over again it would be between elkas or axis
