We Are Now At Quadfest!

WE have arrived... so far, we're maybe 9 strong.. I think some came overnight... we'll see.

It's a tad early, 7:30. Breakfast @ 8, riding by 10. Nice to come early. It's 72 and bit breezy out there this morning, certainly nice riding weather, but not short sleeve.... thought I packed a light riding jacket, apparently not. Have to fix that.

Otherwise nothing to report....

Off to omelettes! Seeya'z. Pics will be posted tonite most likely, stay tuned!

Great time Tony ,wish u were here. Rachel was kickin ass today.you would be proud.

some of us talked today about coming back out here in october. this would be a no b/s ride. riding sun up to sun down if your interested. should be beautiful with the fall foliage kickin in.

Good stuff gang, a FEW pics are up.... we got seperated a few times but always managed to find others of us to ride with. I've seen quite a few more than 9 of us now, for sure. Yesterdays 72 (Vins truck later said it was NOT 72 but 56...I believe it) and breezy turned into some of THE best weather so far! Awesome....

I wish I was there too! Sounds like a great time and good riding weather. Im always proud of her riding ablility. She rides better than I do now. Anyone take any photo's of her riding today?
I'll have to see how Im doing in the fall to see if I can ride by then, but it sounds like a possibility.

Unfortunately I'm back in Jersey now Definately made some great memories with this ride,some may haunt me but thats another story.

This weekend had it all thrills,spills,plenty of mud,woodsy trails,some crazy track style trails which kicked ass, smooth as glass dirt roads to pin the throttle on.

We should have brought more back up quads. More breakdowns than expected for sure.

The nights at the lounge were off the hook. I think I hurt more from laughing than riding. We are definately a twisted bunch

Great to meet your friends Mike. Hopefully you will talk them into getting on the forum. They have my vote being zone riders.


I hope the sunday riders have a good time,looking foward to hearing how the day went.

I had the BEST TIME!!! That mud hole was THE BEST !! The people standin around were gettin pissed because i was flyin around and mud was flyin off my tires n hitting people! I had a good time i wish i didnt feel so crappy friday....(frickin poisin pancakes.. im scared for life..) I had a great time riding w/ you guys.. Hopefully ill see you soon....the last time i saw any of you was like 2 years ago at most! That october trip sounds like a plan to me!!! ttyl <3 Rachel

DAMAGE REPORT; Im sure the list will lengthen by tomorrow...................


1)Vinny bnj/scrambler = tore up and cracked his rear bearing housing/chain gone
raptor= carb issues ??? broken clutch lever (self inflicted) dumb ass

2)piccione= right ball joint seperated and 2 flats on the rental scrambler


3) Vinnyballs prarie= overheat/boiled over-mud related

4)kevin/ polaris overheat/boil over-mud related- ignition switch fell apart/minor - carb adjustment/minor- Troys da man!!!

5) avc/banshee bent up foot peg (self inflicted)

6)motorhead/yfz= minor overheat -mud related

7)kfxqueen =minor overheat-mud related

8) syco= minor carb issue

9) mrac1980 (brute force) overheat

TRANSPORT VEHICALS

1)syco/jeep liberty= waterpump failed/12 hour trip home???

2)motorhead /k2500= plugs oil fouling on the trip out on long decel,heavy blow by.left it 2 quarts low to get home on 8 cylinders,screw it! (202k time to say goodnight little smallblock)


INJURIES/CRASHES

vinnybnj= tree/no injuries -pilot error
kfxqueen= food poisoning??? down for 1/2 the day
Laura= roll over in the mud pit= pinned/ no injuries
syco= tree/no injuries
kevin=smashed thumb??? non-atv related
Turbojoe= monkeybutt (Buy a quad dude!)
motorhead offset head-on collision/flip (dumb redneck going the wrong way on a one way trail) slight road rash,ehh? dirt rash?
