Hello all. It has been a while since I have posted anything. I keep a check on whats going on though.
Bought my 15 year old son an 05 CRF250R and we went riding with a couple guys yesterday. They mostly climbed pipelines, but I got into some major mud. On the way home, I stopped by the quarter wash and sprayed everything down real good. Got home, went to take the 500 Sportsman off of the trailer and it will not start. No power at all to the LED display. The battery is fully charged. I am no mechanic so I need some advice. I am thinking there is a fuse somewhere and I probably shorted it out maybe if it was still wet when I turned the key. But, I don't know where the fuse is. Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks,

Steve

Oh yeah, here is a pic of me in the mud. By the way, I do wear a helmet, I had just taken it off before trying to get the bike out of the mud.

Call me STUPID!!!! I figured it out. I went out this morning and took some plastic off. Thought it might be the little cylinoid (spelling??) just off of the battery, so I got the part number and came in to check prices on the net. Saw a listing for KILL SWITCH and it dawned on me. Went out and sure enough, it was in the off position. My son said that when I let my cousin take is for a spin before loading up, he hit the kill switch when he put it on the trailer. I never use it, I always use the key.

Boy do I feel dumb!!!!

Steve
