a friend of my want to dmv to regiser his dirtbike 2007 honda crf230f and they say he cant its not a atv or a street legal bike is that true and why not thanks

yes it is true you can not register the dirt bike in nj why only from what DMV told me years ago they do not have a classification for dirt bikes and that they are not desinged for road way use

wow thanks i never new that i did not think it was true but that sucks in away if u get stop with it in nj but i guess they cant give u a ticket then if u dont have a reg well i hope not

sorry margin but PA does not have dirt bike registration thru the state been their done that. The only way i know is that if you join a local club in vermont they can help you turn your certificate of origin into a vermont title which you can bring back to nj and then register it. Pa only has 1 riding area for unregistered and un insured dirt bikes and that is out near state collge Pa its a small 8 miles loop near bald eagle state park thats why ive been going up north for the past 6 years and no they do not plan on opening any of the ATV trails for 2 wheelers

2008 Yamaha WR250R

This street-legal WR250R is about 40 pounds heavier, has 4v head instead of 5v, has fuel injection, and lower compression than it's dirt-only version (WR250F).
