Based on the pictures in my Moog catalog, the Idler arms for the full size trucks are longer and the drop is different. However the one for the 93 has a similar design. I wouldn't recommend mixing steering parts unless you are building some kind of off-road racer and you are looking for a different steering response. Changing the length of the pitman arm and idler arms can give you a bump steer condition, that is, every time you hit a bump the truck will want to wander.

Never heard of that, Ive changed quite a few and from what I remember they were different lengths.

The idler arms and lower ball joints on S/T trucks are the most mis- diagnosed parts on those trucks. you are allowed a little play in the idler and a little verticle play on the lower bj and it is just fine. So many customers are screwed at independent shops with this condition. If you keep everything greased they last a long time, Ive seen alot of upper bj's snap but usually cause of lack of grease.

I've replaced a ton of idler arms and ball joints on s-10 trucks .Most of the time its because of lack of grease.
Like Shawn said ,most G.M. idler arms have a bit of play in them right out of the box. I will say that the early 90's s-10 blazers did wipe out ball joints rather quickly.
But my real question is why switch to full size front end parts ??? Thats asking for trouble.
Go to a good after market co. if you want to upgrade the front end.

trust me, i greese everything between 3-6k miles. even my u-joints

Ah! the lift kit and big tires explain the front end wear. Sorry I didnt know about the conversion parts ,Im not into s-10 trucks and Im not into 4 wheeling anymore. The last big truck I had was 15 yrs ago. It was a 1981 chevy c-10 short bed . It had 38 inch swampers and 8 inches of lift. I still had to cut the fenders so they wouldnt rub the tires. It cost me a fortune in gas and I got lots of tickets so it lots its "cool factor" real quick.
Anyhow, good luck finding your parts.
