Lift Kits

i am thinking about lifting my 04 chevy 2500hd LT i would like to put 40s to 44s on it tires on it what size lift would i need 4 this 8'' i think i can prob get like 37 maybe 38s so i am thinking like a 12'' to 15'' lift be nice

Dave wasnt this the truck you use to tow the quad long distance to pa ,etc? maybe reconcider going that crazy with a lift. its real hard on the truck not to mention the added expence of chewing tires on long highway trips. just a thought , not sure what your intension are with the truck???

i know i prob have to re gear it so i dont miss up the tranny i just want it to look nice and big if you ever been to n.c u see some really nice trucks out there i was going to trade it in but i own like 16k on it and got like 47k miles so if i do trade i lose on it just going to keep it and fix it up its all 100% stock had it 4 3 years so far my frist car my jeep i did evey thing to it 9subs 8000watts 4000watts amps 5 tvs lift ps2 and so on this one notting lol or i can just race the truck and do all eng work to it i know i can make it do 10s but then i kill it hahah

i think it would be sweet. they look bad lifted. i seen one the other day it must of had 12in and a 3in body. feckin huge, and it still had ifs. i really was going to wet my pants i never seen a gm that high unless it had a solid axle. it must of been custom because im pretty sure the biggest kit you can buy is 6in for them. just keep in mind if u are rolling on 44's with 15in alot of cops can be dicks. my buddy had a 250 on 49's with 22inches and it got impounded like every month lol. if u do it post some pics.

i dont think you are finding anything higher then 6in for that 2500. 6in and 3in body. is prob the highest you can go unless u go custom.

Your ready to put 40's on your truck? What about the jeep? YOu still got plenty to do to that thing. Is it fixed yet? If your looking to blow money why not do it on the jeep. Order up some Currie 609's full width and we'll start from there!!!

currie 609 ? dont know what that is jeeps done all i need is a roll cage that would make it look really nice but i am done with rocks i think i really like mud 100% better to many probs with rocks dont have the cash to fix it ever week

A 609 is a Hybrid Dana 60 and Ford 9" combined. PRetty nasty to say the least. Anyway, Done with rocks?!? Did you go somewhere else and break something ? I guess I have the opposite thinking of you. I used to go in mud for the first 5 months I owned the jeep. After a set of wheel bearings I've decided against it. I was back in the powerlines the other day actually showing one of my buddies around trying to get him stuck. By the way....if you really do decide to go big with your truck my friend has some used Mickey Thompson rims and tires for sale. They are 40's and came off a lifted chevy show truck.

the last time i want was when i want with u jeep at the shop now so i hope it gets fixs soon just want to drive it on the road 4 now i have a ford 8.8 dont need a dana 60 this in nj no where to go to really use it
