There are quite a few of us on here Lisa!

If you're ever interested in a trip, let me know. We're running a trip to the first Dover race (June 1rst) and the fall Bristol race (Aug. 23rd).

The trips leave from Allentown, PA.

I saw this in someones signature, and really got a kick out of it.

"Nascar id like watching skittles being flushed down the toilet."

Oh LOOK!! They're making another left turn! I wonder what they're gonna do next?

"There are but three true sports--bullfighting, mountain climbing, and motor-racing. The rest are merely games. " Barnaby Conrad (and NOT Ernest Hemingway btw)

Yeah I don't see "Little E" in that camp for long, contrary to his contract, I do not like Gordon or Johnson, so this will be interesting fanhood here. I guess were 20Fans here (hence the wifes name). Met a few drivers over the years...

No illegal drugs, no steriods, no drinking, no sex tapes, or wife beating, imagine a redneck could resist drinkin and wife beatin huh??

What other sport can say that? None of them. REAL role models for sure.

Not these primadonna multi-million dollar athletes dropping a dime on fellow competitors, shooting 'roids, DUI charges abound, shootings, rape, drug habits. Thats an athlete? Puuuleeez..... 3 strikes yer out and half the league (of your sport of choice) would shut down.

Funny.. a lot of DWI's for some professional drivers.. and of course the CHILD MOLESTER.. That makes for a "REAL ROLE MODEL"

Bottom line .. They are all just people ..and all people do stupid things , Don't hold your HEROS any higher than I hold mine

And if you are looking to "athletes" to be role models.. you need mental assistance ..

Hello Lisa,
I hear ya.
I have been watching Nascar since the last 80's and was a HUGE Rusty fan, not that you could tell by my avatar. Even thou I don't have a new driver of choice these days I still go to both of the Dover races and try and hit a Pocono race as well and would love to make other tracks this year.
I have annual tickets for the spring race at Dover so anyone that goes will definitely have to hook up (Tim).

Also as a side note, I run a Nascar Fantasy League, so if anyone would be interested email or PM me and I will send you all info about it.

Wes

Let's make the sport more interesting. Lets put obstacles on the track, like logs and old tires. Then, lets turn half the field around and run in the opposite direction. Then on the last lap, the leaders have to get past monster trucks to get the flag. We'll call it "PA Turnpike Style" NASCAR.

Now you got my attention!
