Three plead guilty illegal deer, bear hunting on ATVs
by The Associated Press
Friday February 08, 2008, 8:15 AM
Three West Milford men pleaded guilty to illegal hunting charges after targeting deer and bear while riding all-terrain vehicles, authorities said.

All admitted violating the state's game code. A municipal judge fined Piotr Stelmach $3,514; his brother, Vincenty, $2,131; and Dariusz Baba $665.

The judge also revoked their hunting licenses and ordered them to complete a hunter's ethics course before they can hunt again.

The Stelmach brothers apologized at their sentencing.

Just like atv riding ,hunting is also being pushed out of nj. Its a constant battle against tree huggers to keep hunting from being outlawed. So of course this is a double hit to guys like me who love both sports.
Like always ,it only takes a couple of a-holes to ruin it for everyone. Im sure the greenies are having a field day with this one.

Honestly I am quite surprised they have not jumped on this alot more, or tried to. But just like the atv rider(not) shot last year, this is not an ATV issue it is a hunting issue and these idiots just happened to be on ATV`s....

On a bright note for north jersey anyway the anti groups are all tied up dealing with the highlands act which makes the pinelands act look like childs play....

PS: HAPPY B`DAY JIM...............
