The Bank: Why?

Customer: Why should I give you my social security number? The reason I'm closing my account is that your bank is issuing credit cards to illegal immigrants who don't have social security numbers. You are targeting that audience and want their business. Let's say I'm an illegal immigrant and you've given me a credit card. I have a question about it and call for assistance. You wouldn't be asking me for a Social Security number, would you?

Don't know how accurate those numbers are but I can tell you what first hand experience I've had.

-Two of my relatives work in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, 1 on the heart floor and one in admitting. People from other countries come right from the airport to the hospital and have surgical procedures done such as open heart, bypasses, hernia operations etc.... As soon as they are released, they go right back to the airport and go back to 'my country'. You and I pay the bill. That is a fact and it happens every day.

-An Indian man comes to NJ and borrows money to open a business. He uses the trucking company I work for to do his trucking and imports. He pays a couple of trucking bills and then closes his business and skips out on the rest of the bills. He opens another business in another name four months later and again borrows money from a bank that he has no intention of paying. We found him because he went to another trucking company to get some moves done and an ex employee of here now works there. We take him to court and he leaves and goes back to India without paying a cent.

-I am paying off the deductibles and copays on my hospital stay that my insurance seems to think I should pay. I am an American citizen and do not get free healthcare. It burns by arse every month when I have to write out that check to the hospital. If I try to skip out on the bill the hospital will sue me, destroy my credit and then freeze my assets or garnish my wages to pay the bill.

Man do i agree 100% but our shitty government will never do sheet about it.alot of them have social sec. nums and get taxxes taken out of theyre checks (even if its a bullcrap #) and they dnt file @ the end of the year. The gov. makes a ton of money off of that. BS really.
