Guys, need some help here. I'm thinking about getting liability coverage so I can ride places like "Lost Trails". Please help guide me with the questions below. I've called a few places and I'm getting inconsistant quotes. Who is the best company to use and cheapest?
Who has liability insurance for their ATV?
What insurance carrier are you using?
How much is the annual premium?

I have used rider in the past , The rates are determined on the model and cc of the machine , But figure around $100.00 + a yr.
Gieco now insures atv's .. They may be worth a look..

Geico quoted me $101, Rider quoted me like $275 a year. With Rider I had to match the same coverage as my HD, so it cost more. I thought I saw someone mention that they are only paying like $50-75 year. Just looking for the cheapest, since I'll never really need to use it. Probably the only place I would need it would be for Lost Trails.

Who ever you get quotes from, Geico, Foremost, Riders, Progressive
Tell them you want the least amount of coverage with a $1,ooo deductable.
It should cost between $50-$75 year. Liability only, no collision.

I had progressive but I switched to Markel American, I have full coverage including comp and collision for $230.00 a year on a 700 raptor, I was paying progressive over $500.00 for full coverage. It cost so much because of the collision coverage, it's nice to be paid when it flips down a hill and and gets all killed. For just liability I think it's around $80.00 a year for mine
Here's the phone numbers if you want to get a quote:
Motorcycle: (800) 236-BIKE
ATV: (888) 755-4ATV
Watercraft: (800) 236-WAVE

I pay $75/year for my liability AND comprehensive coverage. I wanted something that would cover theft and damage while on the trailer. I think it is American Select or something like that...let me look it up when I get home.

I used State Farm. Have my homeowners and auto with them. Paid $85ish for the year and then got $90 back for multilple policy discount. So it was free. Always start with the company you already have, you never know.....
