Hey all..

Over the winter our patio table glass top shattered. Any thoughts on where to go to have the glass replaced? Or any ideas what to replace it with? I know it may be cheaper to just buy a new table, but I really like the set we have.

Anyone ever have this happen?

I tried. The first thing I did was call Sears. We've had it for about 4 years now and they won't cover it. We can't prove it was a defect.

Find out who the manufacturer is and contact them. Or try plywood with a tile top.....

No way:
Contact "turbojoe" he rents space to a glass guy who does great work. I am sure he can hook you up. Otherwise "Thompson Glass" in Lake Hiawatha does excellent work also.

Thanks guys. I'll try to find out who the manufacturer is and make a go of it that way. Then, on to a "glass guy" if need be. However, I think that's the way it'll end up.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
