As many of you know NYATV supports all other clubs etc. In return many show there support for us and for NYATV becomming the hub for all Tri-State area clubs to share events, rides and information and we greatly appreciate it.
Well about a year or so ago as we do all the time, one of our property owners along the trail in Fosterdale NY's grandson (Jared Carlew 17 years old) was going through his second battle with cancer. NYATV and many other supporting Clubs (Sullivan County ATV Assn., The Mud Buds, The Muddnutts, Daves ATV Zone, Catskill NY Riders, Tri-State ATVers, NEATVers, and more...) joined up for a ride to a fundraising event held for Jared. The event was a tricky tray event with lunch and food for purchase. We had about 50 riders. Every rider donated $30 and SCATV donated an additional $500 ( see post

Well last night after taking a turn for the worse, I regret to tell everyone that Jared has passed away. It's very sad when someone young passes and I ask eveyone to say a prayer for him and his family. Once i have more info on funeral arrangemnets etc I will pass it on. I want to again thank everyone for the support with the ride and helping jared out when he needed it. RIP Jared. - JT
