Need help!!!
I have never been on a sport atv before. I have had a 2003 Honda Rancher ESP and a 2005 Honda Foreman ESP. I know how to shift a 42,000 truck with an 7-speed Trans. But I have never used a manual clutch on a sport atv before. I can only want spend about $4,000.
And for all you people out there thinking I am selling my Foreman you are dead wrong!
The Foreman Is NOT FOR SALE!!!

If I did sell the foreman I would have to go with $8,000 or $9,000 to much into it to sell. The reason I want I sport atv is that I want to go riding with my dad and Kevin doesn't want anyone to use his atv. The fact that I like to jump and stuff. I don't want to brake my foreman in half and it is made for muddin not jumping.

If a 12 year old kid can learn to ride an XR80 with a 5-speed transmission, manual clutch, and kickstart, I'm sure you'll have no problem. If you're a 200+ pound adult, I'd recommend a Raptor. If you're under 200 pounds, the Suzuki LTz400 or Honda 400ex are great machines too.

250ex defiantly not. That is a beginners bike and also good for a girls bike. It will not last or perform well if used hard as a sport bike.
I think you will find that the 300ex is a nice small and light bike to throw around and have fun with but it is under powered and too small for you to ride. You are over 6ft tall, no?
The 400ex is a nice bike but if you are looking at one of those you might as well buy a 450r. The 450r is a very nice atv and has the all the power you should need.
The YFZ 450, Rapter 660 and 700r are also good bikes. I think it comes down to personal choice . Go to the dealers and check these bikes out. You will know which one you want after looking.
Time is on your side. Don’t look and come home with a new bike. Take your time and shop around.

id say 400ex, nothing to fast that u cant handle but can grow with u also. dont get something too small, in 6months you be hitting yourself. dont forget, you are tall so comfort as to come into play somewhere.......
or y not a scrambler?
or better yet, be one of the few, the proud and get a predator!
