Mark,
Where did you see anything good ???All this bill does is increase fines allow for impoundmant and possible sale of vehicle etc.. and another similar bill not yet introduced but will be shortly, calls for increasing the registration and using those $$ for enforcement...point of sale registration etc. The bottom line here is they are calling for "comprehensive atv legislation" which should also and actually must include part of registration $$ going into an OHV trust fund to be used for trail and land purchase, maintainence ,safety training and at least 2 new legal riding areas as we were promised, plus alot of other issues but without the bill gaurenteeing at least 2 new legal riding areas we should fight any legislation porposed... Also most of these fines and laws presently exist in title 39 but they are not enforced , so why duplicate....

Ok ok.... Maybe I went to the wrong area.... here's what I found initially...

"Senate Budget and Appropriations "
Allows emergency service providers to place telephone numbers on the State no telemarketing call list.
Increases workers' compensation for loss of hand or foot.
Changes criminal penalties for theft of fuel.
Exempts sale of recreational safety helmets from sales and use tax.
....just to name a few.....

This list goes on, some of it is above me though........

Sounds to me like the old political trick - bury the "bad" stuff within the good stuff. Then when you crank about "the Bill" you are a bad guy for burning EMTs. I'm so sick of it.
