1997 Honda Recon Lunges When Put Into Gear

When you put it into first gear at idle it wont stay motionless until giving it some gas like normal, but instead it jumps and most of the time kills itself when put into gear, Same with all the gears afterwards too, just kind of like it has direct drive ..lol
any suggestions?

Assuming your idle is correct, it sounds like the centrifugal portion of your clutch is jammed. There should be an adjustment somewhere on the clutch cover. You might need to buy a book with the adjustment procedures in it.
