I have a 1984 Honda TRX200 with a no spark condition. I get 12 volts on the gray wire to the CDI, black wire to the coil OK, green to ground OK, blue/yellow to the pulse generator OK, black has not continuity to CDI with ignition on. The coil primary to ground reads .3 ohms, the secondary spark plug lead to ground reads 9.28K ohms. The pulse generator reads 32 ohms. The CDI unit was replaced with a known good one. All seems well except no spark. Any Ideas?
A couple of other questions. What does the black to the ac generator do for the CDI unit? Where physically is the inhibitor switch and what is it's purpose?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

try bypassing the kill switch..... if it went bad, it could be shorted across the contacts.
