All I can say is I LOVE MY QUAD!!! I haven't had so much fun on a quad in a long time. If you haven't had the chance to ride one, find someone who has one and take it for a spin, you won't regret it! :rider:

OK, this is where I become a d*ck ... a co-worker has a 700 and loves it ... last September we were having a blast as always, riding the fire roads in Stafford Twp ... then we got serious ... I out and out SMOKED HIM, from one end of the fire road to the other ... by the time I clicked fifth gear, I was easily eight bikes in front of him ... yes, the 700 is a nice PLUSH ride ... it's like riding a sofa ... the trans definatly holds it back ... I was seriously going to buy one until this incident ... I'll keep my 416 a little longer

Maybe he was just afraid of opening it up cause I ride with a guy with a raptor pipe and jetted and he only gets me by 2 quad lenghts and that was stock now that I have tweaked the trans and soon will have the muzzy system (backordered for another month) hat will all end!

Well sandpit that is true, three of my friends have bikes, one is a 440ex, a 250r and a raptor. Stock I was faster than the raptor, and even with the 250r, the 440 would take me in a long run. Now with the pipe, jetting and spring I will leave them all in the dust. Granted the 250r smokes me around a track, because he can turn like he's on rails, but in the woods and open trails I eatem all up. I bought my bike because it fit me, I knew what I was buying and I still love it. There is great potential in this bike, but it isn't a 450r or a yfz450, and I don't pretend it is. All I was saying is that it is a great, fun bike. It's a good trail bike that can rip it up if need be.

Kawasaki atvs are more know for a better ride than for tearing everybody else up. Everybody who rides my bayou says it feels like a cadillac on the trails. JMO

SJKFX700, I am in NO WAY dismissing the 700 as a wimpy ride ... it has some great qualities about it ... for weeks my buddy ran his mouth about smoking me, leaving me to eat his trail dust and basically being obnoxious ... honestly, my 416 is far from stock ... 98Cobra, we were BOTH wide open ... honestly, I was surprised at the outcome ... I thought it would be close, boy was I wrong ... I had my fifteen minutes of fame, and it felt real good

Yeah the V is detuned bad from the showroom but responds readily to simple mods. Now with a newborn the V mods are gonna have to be put on hold for awhile
