This is the 3rd time I've cut a rear boot and it appears the cause is the chincy stock rear A arm skid plates are not high enough in the front and allow sticks, whatever to come in and cut the boots.

So, now I'm on a mission to replace them. I have looked at several out aftermarket units and I'm leaning to the Warn Body Armor units and looking for some suggestions. The info I looked at doesn't provide any measurements as to how high they extend in the front. I priced them at $79 a set.

My preeeeesizion, calerbrated eyeballs tell me I need about 3-4" to protect them and also allow for clearance when the rear suspension is bottomed out.

Anyone have them or know the specs or have any other suggestions?
