Looking for some advice on my 06 BF 750. I'm new to the utility's, I had a LT205R a few years ago and sold it when the kids came along. Now I'm getting older and thought I wanted a utility quad that I could use around the house as well as riding. I love the BF, but I miss the racing side of it. I was looking to make some modifications to it to make it a little more fun. Don't get me wrong, the thing has balls and I love it, I just want to make it even more fun. Thinking about getting into some races as well. If anyone has any thought on what I can do to a stock 06 BF 750, I'm all ears. Thanks.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. Lets say you want to go all out for trail/race use GNCC style. Replace the shocks with Elka's top of the line and I suggest Hi-per carbon beadlock wheels and Maxxis Bighorn radials. Those mods are probably the best money you would spend BUT they are also the most expensive. You are looking at about 4-5k.
Power wise I would probably do a pipe and jetting, nothing more. If you do regular trails I suggest a pipe with a quiet core. Personally I left mine stock but I did jet it correctly. Cams, big bores etc are all available but it is the law of diminishing returns. The suspension is the most important thing along with the tires. Stock wheels can be used BUT they bend when looking at rocks. Most of the inexpensive alloys commonly found are heavy and will work against the suspension. Now you can use Works performance shocks or cheaper Elka's and save some if you don't need full race equipment. There are some other good tires out there that are less expensive as well.
I am currently working on a snorkel system for my 05 to stop the water from getting into the carb when i go through puddles. I do not want snorkels for astetic reasons. I will post up when I am done but this may take a while.
