No matter what the dealer or myself do to the idle adjusting *beep* on my 2003 Bayou 250, the engine slowly builds rpms at idle and then roars to max revs. Is this just common or is there another way to control the rpms at idle? Welcome to all suggestions.

Sounds like the pilot jet or *beep* isn't working right. Do you think maybe there might be a vacuum problem? The quads new right? Take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it right

Sorry, I took it off the censored words list. I did not make the list. Found it online.

The dealer set it back to factory specs. That just made the problem worse. It went to either over rev or stall. Great. My nephew (boy genius) fixed it in about 45 seconds of tinkering. No problem since. Problem was in the choke lever mounted on the handlebars. Cable was loose under the boot.
thanks for the replies
