Today I went to pick up a new Brute Force 750. After driving two hours in traffic and unloading my trade-in, I started my new quad. I let it warm up for about ten minutes. Then I went to ride it. It began sputtering and backfiring terribly. They tried to change the plugs but the problem continued. In speaking with the owner, I told him that I had read about a similar complaint on the internet. A few minutes later, he came out with a sevice bulletin (severe backfire at slow speeds) from Kawasaki. There is an updated carburetor jet needle that needs to be replaced.
The eligible units are as follows:
Model KVF750-A1 VIN (last 6) 500001-513500
Model KVF750-B1 VIN (last 6) 500001-504641
Check with your Kawaski dealer because the part needs to be ordered.
I loaded my trade-in back on my truck and headed home to Jersey.
Oh well, that's life I guess. Ed

Not that I own a Kawasuki, but thanks for the heads up for those who do.

So, you are not going to get it at all?
