NJ Senate Bill S3024 advocates confiscation of ATVs & Dirt Bikes. EMERGENCY!!!!
Dear rider ,
STOP SENATE BILL S-3024 TO BE VOTED ON TODAY!!!!! If New Jersey Senate Bill S-3024 goes into effect it will be the end of off-road recreation in the state of New Jersey, because there?re provisions in this legislation to confiscate YOUR PROPERTY. If this law goes into effect many and we mean MANY potential OHV buyers will reconsider purchasing a Motorcycles and or ATVs. If this happens the Powersport dealers that support us with product will go out of business in the State of New Jersey. If this bill goes into effect the chance of future OHV parks as well as events on public land will all but disappear because there will not be enough OHV users to support these event or parks. The worse part of this legislation is that your investment could be confiscated and you could loose your license for up to six months for the first offense and 2 years for the second offense.

Subject: I oppose S-3024 because it advocates confiscation of personal property.
Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],
I am adamantly opposed to Senate Bill S-3024 in it's current form, because it advocates confiscation of my personal property and will penalize me, my family, and the other 300,000 New Jersey residents and their families.
As one of the assemblyman's constituents I oppose Senate Bill S-3024 because it does not provide any legal options for families to recreate legally on any state and public managed lands which we've all paid for.
I oppose Senate Bill S-3024 because it will cost the State of New Jersey $30,000,000 in lost sales tax and registration revenue and we as the residents of New Jersey can not afford any higher taxes.
What I'm asking you, as my representative is to vote NO until all my concerns are addressed and that before any legislation goes into effect that there are 3 state sponsored locations that will all be self funded for this activity as well as legal recreational access to state managed public lands for my family.
As one of the assemblyman's loyal supporters I hope that he will look out for my interest.
Sincerely,
Name
What's At Stake:
If Senate S-3024 becomes law it is going to KILL of Off-Highway Vehicle recreation in New Jersey. This legislation will stop many possible new riders and their families from purchasing a Off-Highway Vehicle for fear of loosing their driving privileges. If this legislation becomes law any hope of future OHV parks in the state will be history. NJOHVA position is that we advocate responsible OHV recreation as do all New Jersey OHV enthusiast. That's what is at stake!
Campaign Expiration Date:
