My husbands mom said if we could fix one of her quads we could keep it, so of course we agreed. Got it running and all was fine. So the other day I was riding it and antifreeze started spraying all over my leg. Turns out the little hose thing for the antifreeze was too long and had touched a hot part somewhere and melted. So I replaced that and the antifreeze and all was fine again. But today I was all happy to take it out for a spin and I reved the engine and took off. When I parked it I noticed I had no antifreeze at all. So I'm wondering if I didn't hook something where it needed to go or something. The hot light never came on on anything, so it must be getting to the engine to cool, but it's not making it back to the resovior. I have no clue and we can't find the owners manual...please help me out here, it has to be something stupid that I'm just missing!

The cooling system probably needed to " burp " - which means when you loose antifreeze and replace it air gets trapped in the system - as the quad runs it burps out the air - refill the radiator let it run a little with the cap off to release the trapped air - top it off go for a ride and when it cools check the level again - hopefully this solves your problem

Ok I tried that and it just is foaming all the fluid out of the system through a hose coming out of the engine. The hose i thought was a vent and it is about the size of an aquarium bubbler's hose. I was wondering if i might have a blown seal or if the "Fish" hose is supposed to make a complete cycle and loop into another part of the engine.
I appericate any help anyone can give me
