If I invest in a GPS, I want to make sure the damn thing can be charged if the battery gets weak while on a trail. I was wondering if anyone knows a company that sells a 12 volt accessory adapter or has one installed for a Scrambler. If you have one, how good is it and how much does it cost? Where did you install it on the quad and does it drain the battery a lot? I'm guessing it can't be too hard to install.

Here's an idea......Bring extra batteries. The batteries last up to 14 hours continually used. You ride for more than 14 hours? And you can't say, what if you get lost, becuase you will have GPS

Do they take special batteries (lithium, etc.) or can I get the regular ones that come in the wired up bunny on crack?
