Unhappy

Gears grind when trying to put the ATV into gear. I was wondering what needs adjusting to stop it from Grinding?

Most likely your shift linkage needs adjusting. Not sure how the Trail Boss is set up, but on my '99 Sportsman 500 you put it in neutral, then adjust the linkage so the shifting levers on the gear case are in the neutral position.

I will have to give that a try. I'm not sure how to adjust the shift linkage, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Another site said my idle could be a little to high, this is possible since it was idling bad so I turned up the idle a little.
