Thumbs up

My 2004 Sportsman 500 has been working fine for a year until yesterday. When I went to move it the speedometer started shooting all over and I wasn't moving yet. I placed it into reverse and it keeps stalling but moving forward it works fine. I not sure what the problem is?? This is the first Atv I have had that has electric demand 4x4 and backup over rides. Is this a sensor or is the computer having a brain fart??? Any help would be great!!

[/quote]Rhbuilds,could that pinced coil wire cause this problem-I started my 500 sportsman and let it warm up for a few minutes then moved it outside the garage, shut it pff and it sit there for about an hour.I then started it up to move it back in the garage. The starter motor just kept cranking after the engine started.I hit the kill switch ,engine stops but the starter keeps cranking.I turn the key off it still keeps cranking.Take the key out still cranking. Finally I have to dissconect the battery to stop it.Any one els hear of this or have this problem?
