All 2004 Sportsman 500 and 400 and maybe others check your lower radiator hose for wear from the plastic cv "stone guard" on front right A-arm. Found mine starting to cut thru it. Droped it off at dealer and checked out the 400's same clearance issue.
Noticed the 700's have a different setup.
