Any body else have this problem? Took the bike mudding (of course) and ran fine, next day washed off the mud from everything and went to put it away and the bike would hardly move in high, low seemed to be fine though. After pulling the drain plug and letting it sit to dry out the bike ran fine. I guess what i'm tryng to ask is shouldn't the case around the belt be water tight? Also feels funny starting off in high now, like it takes a second to get going and it sort of clunks when it grabs. Might be just fine, but it didn't do it before all this started. Any comments would be appreciated.

It sounds like water on the belt.
Check the base of the snorkle, some machines just have a boot w/ a hose clamp & it pulls away . letting water in, therefore hitting the belt ,causing the slip.

When was the belt last checked..? how many hrs. ? It could also be stretched!

Good luck!
