Polaris Industries downgraded to "sell"

Monday, November 08, 2004 10:02:19 AM ET
Banc of America

NEW YORK, November 8 (newratings.com) - Analyst Gary L Cooper of Banc of America Securities downgrades Polaris Industries (PII.NYS) from "neutral" to "sell." The target price is set to $48.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the downgrade in rating is based on valuation. There is limited upside to the FY05 profit and revenue growth estimates for the company due to the potential decline in the US ATV market, rising commodity costs and declining financial service revenues, the analyst says. Polaris Industries has high exposure to any decline in consumer discretionary spending, according to Banc of America Securities

I means that if you have stock sell it. I think however I will buy, when it gets that low. I have been watching it for some time, IMO it will go back up.

I'm told Bombardier Recreational Products was recently sold The people who bought it was the original family that owned it.

Has any other companies' stocks been downgraded recently? Arctic Cat would be the one most similiar to Polaris I would think. Arctic abandoned their watercraft line in the 90ies.
