just installed 2.5" tach on my scrammy. pic is at idle

Does a tachomoter have any additional uses on an ATV that uses a CVT such as your Polaris? I guess it will allow you to tune your wide open throttle RPMs, correct?

yes, mainly to tune the cvt clutches and see where the power band of the motor is.
