I just rebuilt my motor on a polaris 400 scrambler 4x4. I rode it all weekend long, and it ran great. Now when I try to start it, it will not fire up. i checked the spark plug for fire and i am getting fire. All it wants to do is just turn over. When the compression gets built up it blows it out. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Yes it is a 2 stroke. But my rings aren't blown. What else could it be?

When the compression gets built up it blows it out.

does that mean it trys to fire or backfire? cause if it does then the rings are blown... cause when the oil and gas build up in the cylinder and get enough compression then it seals the rings and it can fire.

So when I put new rings in it will they just keep on needing to be replaced. Could there be something I am doing to cause this to happen?

Yeah, the oil injection may be BLOWED out..

Also, before i go jumping any guns, i would first check to see what kinda compression you have. Then i would try to spray something like starting fluid or carb clean in the carb and see if it will start..... then report back...

No my oil injection is not even hooked up. I mix my gas. I will try to run a compression check on it and also the starting fluid in the carb. Will let you know how it worked. Thanks for the input guys. This is my first bike, and I don't know allot about it.
