i also have the same quad for my 5yr old son. my quad was slow and had no power and sometimes would die when it was pegged. i found out that if you unbolt the head pipe there is a restrictor plate ( size of a quarter)with a hole in it. remove it and the end of the muffler cap and the quad will run like a million bucks. hope its not to fast for her now.[/b]
Well I FINALLY worked on it again and cleaned the carb again I lost the spark to the plug and replaced the boot but it STILL will not run so I took it to the shop to be repaired. I waiting on the diagnosis

Well I got back from the shop. I guess I did not clean the carb very well, seems I missed the slow idle jet. The shop cleaned it and it runs fine now.

Well, my 7yr son just got a 2006 50cc Oil injected Predator for Christmas. I had to take it back to the shop 2 times. The spark plug kept fouling. The plug would last about 2 weeks. What a pain. Final, w/ fingers crossed the Predator seems to being doing ok. The shop had to lean it out. But really want to get it to run a little faster. This is my son's first quad and he is doing very well w/ it. Late winter or early spring we are planning to begin racing.
