my atv boggs out after starts (ok) give it gas to rev up it stall out 2001 sp 500 ho

Check the air filter first and make sure the choke is NOT on

Air filter & plug would be the first thing I would check.

I had this happen to me once. Air box was full of water. Possibly got in there after I washed the bike.

Do you know the jet adjust? Mine boggs out on throttle.

Throdle Cable might br loose at the carb, just happened to me onmy 700!! Check Plugs, Bad Gas, only High Test, New Filter?? Good Luck, it is a POLARIS !!!!
