I've more good news about SSRT. They are in the process of building another trailhead to increase the system and they are also installing rest rooms at the Gillentown trailhead. All this will take place this year. You can check it out on their web site at:
www.ssrt.org under trail development on their home page. This place just keeps getting better. You can also find the Kwik Fill hotel listed on their lodging info. Good luck. I'm going down there for the memorial day weekend. Camping at the trailhead. Gonna be a blast. Can't wait. Here is another event that you might be interested in as well. The Mehoopany fire company is holdig a poker run on May 18th. This is one of the best runs in the Northeast. The scenery alone will blow you away. It's $ 20.00 per rider. Includes food, door prizes and prizes for the best hand. They also hold a 50/50. The run is about 20 or so miles and afterwards they let you run it again. Great time for sure.
