I don't live in NJ, but maybe if there is a lack of interst (in ATVing) there will be a even less likelyhood of this issue ever being resolved in the ATVers favor (opening new areas for you folks to ride). If you go to PA to buy your quad, they will reg it for you and you will also pay the 6% tax that is if it mattters. Also i found a better deal in PA

There have been numerous broken promises and flat out lies. I doubt if we will ever have a truly legal place to ride in NJ. I ride in PA and have registered in PA. When NJ has a legal riding area of some consequence I will register there as well.
