I had just got my 2003 Honda Rancher ES 4X4 in March and SUNK it. Went out riding with Jon and my nephew, Brent to Pohopoco State Park in PA and then we went across the street to the small track. Then we decided to check out some trails that Jon knew of. Came across a small puddle, yea right it was a pond. I started going through the side of it and slowly moved more towards the middle with every pass. I was going real slow and all of a sudden I felt the whole quad start to go in the water, head first. I held on, it was like the captain going down with his ship. Finally I let go and found myself in the water and unable to touch the bottom. Scary feeling with all the clothes on and a helmet weighing you down and you can't touch the bottom. My Rancher is under water, nose first and bobbing with about 6 inches of the back showing. Well Jon, Brent and me made a human chain and was able to pull it out. I had to get towed back to the truck. That sucked. After changing the oil, the front and rear differentials 4 TIMES, and replacing the vehicle speed sensor it's back in action and runs great!!

I would have taken pictures, except my camera was in the box on the back rack which was under water.
