So today was our first little dusting of snow, kinda caught me off guard, so I decided BEFORE I went riding today, I'd attach the plow plate and toss the plow on the bike..... so here begins the PLOW story.

Got up a little late, thanks to a late night drive home from Hershey, PA (Great place @ Xmas families ).
My son, being up at the crack of dawn since birth, decided to PRY my eyes open to see if I was awake . In return I dragged his little butt to C.C.D. this morning...thought it'd help, as it turns out, the priest made ALL the kids stand up who DIDNT got to church today.. (how rude is that?)...

While he's gone, I grab my work/ride clothes and get crackin.... it is in this first 4 minutes I realize I'm ill-prepared (what else is new ). Off to the orange dump aka Home Depot to grab some U-bolts and a few special clips... Of course the dump is out of stock on 3 out of 4 things needed (surprise! naaaht).

I find some "other" U bolts. make sure they are stainless steel, and home I go (you can smell a problem already too, cant you?). I grab my normally trusty Sears ATV lift (wont lower all the way, no matter what, ) Finally get the bike in the air, grab my work goggles, since I'll be on my back for this, lift the bike finally, and drop car ramps under the wheels for safety (thankfully, the ONLY thing not missing or broken here) and get to work. First 2 u-bolts, pce of cake, open the next "OTHER" 2 and get to work..... They are wider by less than an 1/8", but enough of course to prevent my full install...

After a tirade of this: I decided to drop the whole assembly and re-drill but ....

The drill is dead. What the hell??????? Some more I head over to the neighbors, drill everything, go home, attach everything (amazing how quick you can work when things fit, eh?) and off I go..

Next issue. Missing clips! They bring the mounting plate and plow together. MISSING IN ACTION. ALL THAT WORK and NOTHING!!!!

So, I went riding locally... 10 miles and frozen legs later, I worked out most of the anger....

Thanks for tuning in...

I know how u feel Mark about the atv snowplow. My winch rope broke on me after all my driveways were done.

I think that synthetic rope is warrantied forever Jeff. be sure to check!

I always wondered why WARN refused to use them, then suddenly changed there minds and offered them. PROFIT? or VERIFIED GOOD, you decide.
