Question

i didnt want to be the first on this post. hehe. ok for those who dont know already the day started off by watching most of the group having mechanical problems. the freak and i were commenting about being lucky for having a rather good day. well the luck was about to change.....while i was chasing meljon up the trail he rounded a corner, more like a kink in the trail, i followed a little ways behind not realizing the turn was sharper then i had planned for....5th gear revvvved out all the way..........WHAM! slid that puppy sideways into a tree. i just caught the front tire on the tree hitting hard enough to pop the bead off the rim....first day on this set of tires. the rear tire hit full on square and when it hit the quad stopped but i didnt. the first thing that came to mind was that there was another group of screaming qauds coming up the trail. get up! i rolled the quad over got my wits together and got out of the way and slowly assesed the damage. front tire of the bead and a bent rear axle causing some good ass wobble. Great! well i was fortunate that chris had a spare front tire for me to keep me alive for the rest of the day. back on the trail i watched daves nephew brent go threw hole after hole after hole. i had enough......im going in to....well i go blowing by him momentum built up.....about 3/4 threw the hole the water got deeeeep. i shut it down when it was up to the fenders.....it was too late.....wet motor.....the guys helped me pull the quad out of the hole and we were able to make it run again just enough to get back to the lot...it made it and it made for an eventful day.
