well i have a great story .... first bad crash on the new 400ex ... we built a 30 foot jump by my house and to get to it we go over the hill into the woods ... well i went to fast over the hill and ended up juping the decline. fell forward onto the handle bars and got the helmet stuck to the brake fluid level ... when i tried to lift my head i was stuck and the bike nailed a tree ... a bruised shoulder and ribs for me and the bike needs new upper and lower A-arms... the tree snapped them clean in half. i'll have pics later today

I'm in Old Bridge too. I wonder if I've ever seen that location before. Is it near the wooden bridge that crosses the creek?

if you cross that wooden bridge and follow the trails out you will come to a huge field that they are building at park at. you pas by the 30 ft hill on your left when you come out of the trail ...

Glad to hear you're all right.

When I went riding 2 weeks ago, I was looking down at a quarry from about 1000 ft up and wasn't paying attention to where I was going. My left front tire hit a tree and stopped me. I jumped up and my cell phone in my pocket broke from hitting the handle bars. Luckily I was only doing about 5 mph.

Not as drastic as your incident, but I tell you these trees are tough. We need to grow some softer trees!!!

Maybe you should go to the doctors before the next time you ride. And may I make a suggestion.....ride in an open field

the funny thing is that this is an open field .... just that the jump is built next to the edge of the woods ... i have to retake my pics because they are way too big to upload on this page.

Hey Adam, maybe YOU should have taken a safety course ... LOL ... JK ... Chuck told me what happened ... you can replace sheet metal easier than body parts ... glad it was nothing too serious
