Yeah, I got a shame story, nobody wants to come over and play Thursday (26th) at 4:30. I back to the woods, and it'll be dry. Noone wants to go, thats a damm shame!!!! ??
Actually, my shame story happened just this evening, I rode out alone (mistake numero uno) but not too far.... and I actually crossed a few places where I was like "should I? ehhhh, yeha!" (mistake numero dos), anyway, the return trip it was a little dark...ok alot dark, even with high beams, and I was approaching what I "thought" was a smooth stretch of straight track there (mistake num...) when it was too late to realize it was a deep puddle covered in muck and pollen (and lord knows what else...ewwwww) , I hit it flying too!! All I saw was water, then nothing but brush, thick thick brush, thank god too, cuz the bike was about 4 FEET behind me, and also cuz 2 ft left was a tree and 2 ft right was the Whippany River. Talk about laughing out loud, thankgod I was alone... <<---moron

Thats what makes riding at night so much fun, you never know what is going to just pop out of nowhere, like big puddles and trees.....

Too many numero's there Mark
Those 4x4's react a lot different than the sport models on those unexpected puddles or at least I am guessing from your story.
BEEEEE CAREFULLLLLLLL
Anyhow once when I was taking a short ride in the late afternoon and after spending the whole time being carefull since I was alone and not wanting to stupid etc I was returning down a mostly straight though tight trail in 4th gear (around 40mph I guess) when suddenly the lights went out, damn was it dark and luckilly only a second before riding off the trail the lights went back on as quick and unexplainable as they went off.
Just need to be cautious when were alone out there.

You're the MAYOR, Mark - have the town install some nice flood lighting ... maybe some runway lights to map out the trails, too ... LOL ... glad you're OK ... go now to the time out chair !!!
