Even though the "group" ride was cancelled for this past weekend, Cathy and I decided to hit Paragon anyhow. I got the truck all loaded up on Saturday night so we could have an easy start on sunday. Headed out about 7:30 and stopped for gas about 5 miles from the house. Filled up the bikes, truck, and can. Off we go.......... :rider: ..........NOT!!!!!!

Starter went bad in the truck!!!!! (cha ching$$$ #1)

So here we are with a loaded up truck (and anyone who has seen my setup knows what i'm talking about), and can't move anywhere. I called my brother in law, who lives around the corner, and had him come by with his truck. Went to load one of the bikes into his bed........and WHAM!!!!!! The ramps kick out and send me almost flying off the back. The bike was teetering on the edge of disaster. Finally got it in and noticed the tailgate was smashed and the paint had cracked off. (Cha Ching $$$$ #2)

Luckily the bikes are ok, and nobody (myself) got hurt.

Anyhow, our fun day of riding never happened, never even started really. Just cost me alot more than a day of riding should have. At least it didn't happen at Paragon, then I would have been up creek

Anyone here do body work???

That sucks. You know what you need......You need a good days of riding to wash those worries away. Hey, how about next Sunday We just so happen to be riding :hysterical:

Sorry to hear about your bad luck and I hate to say it, but bad things usually happen in 3's.........
